Things that make me happy:

• One.More.Day.Until.Vacation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
• Taking Jordan for her first pedicure last night.
• An unbelievable teacher/friend Mama Jean that has been working with Jordan to get her back on track!
• Jordan - realizing that everything doesn't have to be a fight/complaint/struggle.
• A wonderful hubby that has stood strong during all the trials with Jordan and worked with me.
• That same wonderful hubby that has planned said vacation!!!
• Great parents that bring over gift cards for Cracker Barrel and Sonic before we leave.  :)
• Spring baseball for Myles - it has been unbelievably fun to watch him learn the game.
• French-manicured toes and sparkly flops - enough said.  :)  :)  :)

Things that make me happy:

::: Friday's!!!

::: Being flu free in (what seems like) a sea of sickness

::: Recovering from ear surgery

::: Finally being able to sleep on my right side (since said ear surgery)

::: Thanksgiving month!! My favorite holiday

::: Hot and Spicy Chex Mix...yum.

::: A dear hubby that pulled in behind me today and offered to pump my gas...it was cold this morning. :)

• Friday...the week is over...this had not been a good week for our family...injuries - burns - sickness.
• That Myles was not hurt more seriously when he was burned.
• Anniversary at work...been here 11 years!

Things that make me happy:

• I know I've mentioned this before...but...JORDAN MADE THE CHOIR!!! :)
• Getting back on track with things - like working out...yuck...but sticking to it.
• Bible study is starting back next week. I have missed my BSG (Bible Study Gals).
• 3 1/2 day weekend. Leaving at lunch time today. I love long weekends.
• House...Season 5...on DVD...from Netflix. I.am.so.excited. :)
• Hearing how God is working through friends and family's lives.
• Myles' new Spongebob Squarepants crocs...they were like a beacon through the fog this morning when I was waving good-bye to him. lol

Things that make me happy...

• A trip to the Wilson Co. Fair tomorrow.
• Fishing/throwing rocks at the lake by our house.
• God's grace and patience...it gets me through EVERY day.
• Jordan trying out for choir and her sharing her beautiful voice with others.
• Labor Day next weekend!!...I love having a 3-day weekend to look forward to. :)

Things that make me happy...

• Getting off early on Friday...of course, I had to go in at 4:45 to make that happen...but, oh well.
• Being home the last 2 days when Jordan gets off the bus.
• Accepting the fact that my baby girl is growing up and going to her first dance.
• Relaxing on the couch while Myles "rests" beside me. ((that is said in quotes because that is what he is supposed to be doing...not what he's actually doing))
• Netflix...I love getting movies for everyone!! Scary/thrillers for me, family ones for the kids, and shoot-'em-up/actions for Terrance.

• Harry Potter tomorrow!!!
• Only 4 more days until my birthday!!
• Working nights next week (ok - I can see how some people wouldn't think that would make me happy - but I get to spend all day - every day - with my kids...something I don't normally get to do...as a workin' gal, you know.)
• Going on a girls weekend next weekend - just me and Jordan.
• This video...of which Myles is Oh.So.Proud!!

• My friend had her cancer check-up today and got a clean bill of health!! Yipee!!
• An evening out with my hubby tomorrow night sans kids. :)
• Wonderful parents that are willing to watch the kids so we can go out.
• That my cold is seemingly leaving as quickly as it came.
• Sister's that know all the right books to suggest.

• Staying home with the kids today
• A church picnic tomorrow - they are always fun!
• Sausage fettucini for dinner tonight...I've been looking forward to it since last night. lol
• The ability to hear...for as long as the Lord allows it.
• Jordan's new braces - she looks so cute with them.
• Summer days...and getting to the sprinkler later!
• Wipe-out...the show is so funny!! Total nonsense kind of funny. :)

• lazy summer evenings
• leaving the doors and/or windows open and smelling the warm spring air
• movie time in the evenings with Jordan...no telling how long she will want to hang with ol' mom in the evenings
• watching the kids play on the slip and slide and in the sprinklers
• laying out and doing nothing except getting a tan
• the end of the week...and the beginning of the weekend!
• hot and spicy chex mix...yum!
• my wonderful hubby that fixed dinner for us last night since I was crampy.

~ The simple fact that it is Friday!!!
~ Our new puppy - Nico Toscani Gray - named after Steven Seagal's character in Above the Law...Terrance's favorite Seagal movie...he's so cute! :)
~ That Jordan is working on her attitude - that she is realizing that a bad attitude doesn't really get you anywhere.
~ My healthy family...I need to never take that for granted.
~ Our warm house on these cold, cold, cold, cold nights...if you can't tell - I don't like the cold. :)
~ The fact that Terrance and I have good stable jobs when the economy is so bad.

~ A luncheon at a co-workers house today - it's nice to get out of the office once in a while.

~ Thanksgiving lunch at the office with all of my work friend/family.

~ My wonderful daughter that got up at 5:00 am this morning to help me make cobblers and peel/cut/mash the potatoes.

~ A weekend ahead...ready for this week to be over.

~ My spiced tea that my sister made me...it has warmed my tummy every morning this week.

~ Family vacation next week!

~ Knowing the plumber is coming tomorrow to fix the toilets. ((Having 2 leaking toilets is *not* good))
~ Halloween tonight - trick or treating with the kids is always fun!! A Spiderman and a Hippie...does it get any better??
~ "Free lunch Friday" at work!! - Going out to celebrate a co-workers birthday at Chili's - one of my absolute favorite restaurants.
~ DH is starting his new job on Monday!!!
~ The ability to vote - and early!!!
~ My warm fuzzy slippers as the weather is getting colder!

~ Going out of town this weekend to visit friends....without children.

~ My fabulous pumpkin socks and skelton earrings!! I only get to wear them once a year - so it's always fun.
~ A husband with a brand new job that he is really excited about.
~ A GNO night next weekend playing laser tag. Never done that before - but it sounds like a lot of fun!

~ A baby shower tomorrow that Jordan is going with me. She loves that she is old enough to go with me.
~ A great report card from Jordan's 1st six weeks grading period...4 A's and 2 B's. Yeah!!
~ An email from Steph (who is keeping Myles today). It is titled: The difference between girls and boys:

~ A nice rainy day - we needed one bad.

~ My blue-tooth - I thought I had lost it yesterday - and, boy - did I miss it.
